Retreats

Any capable monk, nun or layperson can make retreats. It is of the utmost importance to present a writing of an accepted Master, backing the practice of said retreat by this person as engaged retreat candidate.

The retreats will cost of the cabin’s lease and the maintenance during the retreat. This money will be kept for monastic economic matters, like inviting Masters to teach, helping people without resources that want to make a retreat, travelling, petrol, and so on.

If a person who dearly wants to make a retreat, and is backed by an accepted Master, is not able to do so for economic reasons, we think that money should not be an obstacle for carrying out the retreat, for this is much more important. We will not hinder its execution. It is indispensable that this person presents a letter from his Master that confirms his economic situation.
